Meet Chris
your instructor.
Hi there!
I'm Chris, your instructor for the course.
I'm a composer and musician based in Reading in the UK. I've been playing and writing music since I was a kid, and have always loved playing by ear, improvising and feeling the music I'm playing - that's something I carry into Sonira.
I play a number of instruments, including the piano, saxophone, great highland bagpipes and the accordion, among others, and I also love composing music, from minimalist pieces to string quartets, short film scores to experiments with musical theatre and even opera.
I hope you'll join me for this course covering everything you need to write great melodies and chords by understanding the Magic behind Music - I look forward to meeting you!
